This 15-pack of bolt-on sandstone textured rock climbing holds is the perfect starter pack or a great way to "refresh" your climbing wall.
The holds are shaped to be gently incut on the fingers (comfortable) and provide a great variety of hold types including; 10 hand holds and 5 foot holds. Included in this set are: 3 jugs, 2 finger buckets, 1 edge, 3 comfortable crimps, one pinch, and 5 large foot holds.
I shaped and designed this set to excel for two different types of climbers:
- Kid climbers on vertical walls. This set has ten positive hand holds and five extra big footholds (great for barefoot climbers). They will be able to easily scamper up the walls or the holds could be positioned to be more challenging for older kids if angled and spaced in different ways.
- Adult climbers on steep climbing walls. V2-V6 climbers will be properly challenged on 20° - 30° overhung walls while more advanced V7+ climbers will be able to set some great boulder problems on 40°+ overhung walls .
The texture is a "pitted sandstone" that is realistic but doesn't interfere with your skin when climbing. I am really excited for this set and think it would be a great addition to any climbing wall.
Like all Cryptic Climbing rock climbing holds, expect a semi-fine texture that is gentle on your skin but still offers solid friction. These are high-quality Polyurethane resin and every hold has zinc or stainless steel washer (s) built-in to the screw holes and is sanded flat on the back.

These are bolt-on holds, meaning they accept a standard 3/8" bolt that secures to a t-nut behind 3/4" plywood (this is a standard climbing setup). I have included the option to add bolts and screws to your order (recommended). I will make sure all the bolt lengths are correct before shipping. Many of the holds have a set screw to keep the holds from spinning on the wall. The carabiner is not included and is for size reference only. If you need T-nuts for your home climbing wall, you can buy them here or you can add them in the option before adding to cart:
